To provide for the continued growth and well being of the Bridgetown Area community.

VISION

The 21st century offers many challenges. A diverse Board of Directors will administer the fund in concert with the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia. The Board of Directors is independent of the Town Council but will support the long term strategic plan for Bridgetown.

VALUES

Bridgetown Area Community Fund (BACF) will appreciate the broad interest of the community including culture, education, heritage, tourism, recreation, volunteerism and other cornerstones of our vibrant community.

The Core of the fund's assets will be comprised of donations, bequests, real estate, trusts and other personal financial assets assigned and entrusted to the BACF.

BACF will be sensitive to the environmental impact.

BACF will focus on the sustainability of projects.
